I’m a data geek by trade but I work in the finance industry. Over the past 9 months I’ve learned what I can about the various metrics used by epidemiologists. I’ve come across this site that has been developed by the founder of Instagram. https://rt.live/ I trust that he has the data chops to pull this together however I’m curious to see how his calculations match up with data available to the medical community. Also - here in Massachusetts each city in town is assigned a color code based on per capita active cases and test positivity rate. It seems to me that factoring in Rt would also be helpful. The big push is to get the kids back to school. Honestly I just don’t know who to trust. That’s why I’m working to educate myself. Jeff, thanks for keeping us all informed. Your blog, the ZDogg videos as well as the MedCram channel on YouTube have been quite helpful to me. John E.
