Effect of Sunlight on Virus?

The US Department of Homeland Security has done a laboratory study "mimicking natural sunlight" and suggesting that SARS-CoV-2 does not survive well in sunlight or under certain levels of heat and humidity.

This is of course important in our viral management plans as we move towards summertime in the USA.

There is skepticism in the scientific community about whether this study accurately mimicked the UV rays of sunlight, so it is recommended to wait until the scientific paper is out before assuming their results hold -- hopefully it will be out soon.
