Nice article — we will see really bad news in rising incidence, hospitalizations, and deaths the next two weeks but this does not mean the social distancing is not working. These are result of infections started a couple weeks back that are just being manifest based on our delayed ramp up of testing and the normal lag of symptoms, hospitalizations, and for the deaths that will come as a small percentage of the total. Don’t let it discourage us from the social distancing and care we have started to show as a society the past couple weeks — these will pay off in the numbers starting next week and after — we should see the numbers start coming down if we look carefully!
