Penn launches randomized HCQ trials

Here is information on the 3 UPenn trials studying Hydroxychloroquine for covid-19 treatment and prevention.
You guys on my FB page know how hopeful I am for this treatment (I was excited about potential before pres pushed it 🙂 and these trials are among the many that will systematically assess whether/when it works and if it does, get more patients treated with it in the most effective and safe way.
And if it doesn’t work, we can move onto trying other things
BTW, first randomized clinical trial results on HCQ vs. placebo on hospitalized (not critical) patients are in and they look quite positive.
